This past weekend we traveled to visit my Parents in Eastern Washington and had loads of fun! We started our trip with a visit to my Grandparents. It was so nice to catch up with them over lunch and the boys especially enjoyed harvesting Great Grandpa's carrots...they were huge! And what is even more impressive is that the boys really and truly ate their entire carrot!!! Then it was back to my parents and off to the local apple orchard where we picked 57 pounds of apples and pears and made fresh apple cider...yummy! Saturday, Nana and Grandpa got to baby sit the boys while Steven, my brother and I went to the U of I football game. Although freezing cold, we had fun tail gating and visiting with old college friends. Then it was off to the game which was indoors (woo hoo!) and even better, the Vandals won!
