Last weekend we took the boys to the Children's Museum and surprised them by taking them on the MAX...this was their first MAX experience and they were SUPER excited! Garrett was so proud that he could reach the handles that hang from the ceiling but it was definitely a stretch so he opted to hold the standing bar handle and both boys were thrilled to ride standing up! The museum is a favorite outing for the boys and although we didn't do everything there, the spent ample time at their favorite exhibits...
Big smiles for the excitement of riding MAX :)
Construction...mason had fun at the children's build-it exhibit and Garrett was thrilled to go to the "Garage" where the older children can use all the recycled materials desired, hammer, nails, screws, glue...this quite possibly is Garrett's favorite part of the museum.
Face painting, a must-do for this little guy...
A newer exhibit for the museum is the "Pet Hospital", and it too is a favorite area for the boys...especially Mason. This really is a fantastic addition to the museum, they can walk their dog to the "dog park", wash, kennel, feed, weigh, and give an exam to their little critters with actual tools that would be used by a vet. Mason and I spent a lot of time here while Garrett spent the majority of this time in the "Garage".
A Veterinarian in the making...
Fun times are always had at the clay studio. Garrett was proud of the snail he created and Mason had fun hammering away at his pile of clay.
Beep, beep, vroom, vroom...they have always had fun imagining themselves as the drivers while operating this city bus and ambulance...
Yes, Garrett too painted his face...very, very orange!

Papa wants to ride on MAX.
