Events like this keep getting better as the boys grow. This year Garrett had a great time carving his pumpkin until his hands could do no more, creating his own great design. Knowing that he would want to do more the next morning, I left mine untouched. Sure enough, Garrett asked to carve another pumpkin; this time I drew a simple jack-o-lantern face and he was able to cut quite precisely along the lines making my job easier than ever!

Mason had a great time helping Daddy scoop out the "guts" of the pumpkins and painting a pumpkin of his own. This was especially fun for Mason as painting is his favorite art medium. Steven always loves to find new patterns to create on his pumpkins and although it was not the most challenging pattern this time, it looked great!
