Spring Break in Eastern Washington
The boys and I packed up the van and drove to Eastern WA to visit their Grandparents for spring break; we had a great time! They were super travelers, making the 7 hour trip with minimal melt downs :) Our first stop was at their Granny and Papa's where the boys had fun bike riding, blowing bubbles (and popping them with the water squirters), swimming in the hot tub, playing games, and making cookies. Next we traveled to Nana and Grandpa's where the highlights were coloring eggs, hunting for eggs, running in the snow (yes, snow in April...every day of our trip!), feeding the horses at Aunt Kathy's, and reading with Nana.
We traveled back home on Wednesday and were treated to a four day weekend with Daddy! Thursday, we decided to take the boys ice skating. Unfortunately it was a waste of money for Mason and myself as he wanted no part of stepping on the ice. Garrett on the other hand had a great time tackling the challenge of gliding those blades over the ice. Friday, we met up with one of Garrett's best buddies from preschool at an indoor jumping place and although it was PACKED with children, they had tons of fun!
