What a great weekend we had...quite possibly our best camping trip yet! We packed up the camping trailer and headed to Ft. Stevens (one of our favorite camping destinations, and right on the Pacific Ocean!). The weather was perfect and improved each day that we were there, sunny blue skies at the ocean...what more could you ask for?! We played so hard we even got to sleep until 9:30 AM, quite impressive for two boys who are always awake in the 6 o'clock hour! We all had a blast playing in the sand and water, flying kites, making sand castles and sand angels, stomping/splashing through all the tide pools, driving on the beach, bike riding, roasting marshmallows and hot dogs on the fire, hiking and exploring the woods, making new friends, and having three amazing days together!
