Fun with bubbles!

I found this great idea for bubble snakes in my Aug. 09 Family Fun magazine. The boys had a lot of fun trying to make their snake touch the ground then play in their piles of bubbles. To make this simple bubble making device, cut the bottom off a plastic water bottle. Cover the open end with a circular piece of towel that's a few inches wider than the bottle. Secure the towel with a rubber band and dampen it with water, then dip it into a shallow bowl of dish soap. Blow gently through the mouth of the bottle to create snakes of tiny bubbles. Have fun!
