After much anticipation, Garrett and Steven made their way to Corvallis for the WSU-Oregon State football game. The game was a total bust for the Cougars (13-66...ouch!!) but none the less, Garrett had a great time with Dad. They had fun tailgating with Steven's cousin Shelby who goes to Oregon State, perhaps the highlight of his day as I recall him telling me what a "chick magnet" Garrett is! Garrett sported his new cougars jersey and cheered "GO COUGS!" as loudly as he could but unfortunately it did not seem to help.
While Steven and Garrett were at the game, Mason and I got some great one-on-one time. We played, played, played! The highlights of Mason's day were imaginative play in the play house that we just moved into the toy room, play dough, bubbles galore, and fort building. Although the start of preschool has provided Mason and I with more one-on-one time, an entire day devoted to each other is fantastic!!!
