An unforecasted snowstorm brought us 3 inches of beautiful white snow today and although he was at first reluctant to go out in the cold, Mason and I bundled up and headed out for snow fun! Dad and Garrett were on an over-nighter with Uncle Eddie and Dawson, so this was a great treat for Mason and I to get some fun play time in of our own!
The snow flakes were huge and just perfect for snowball fights...
...making snow angels...
...and making snowmen! Meet Mason's first (and quite possibly only) snowman of the season, "Frosty" as mason eagerly named him.
Although it is forecasted to turn to rain and melt overnight and into tomorrow, we are remaining hopeful for another miscalculation on behalf of the meteorologist so we can have another day of fun in the snow!
