Zoo Lights!

This was our first time experiencing zoo lights and let me tell ya, it was FA-REE-ZING!!!!! We bundled our boys in their winter gear and met up with the Richins at the zoo to experience the beauty of the lights in 20 degree weather. The lights were certainly a sight to see and the highlight of the trip for the boys was riding the zoo train (their first time on it), but we will be sure to wait it out for a warmer night next year! I still (after 2 years) have yet to completely figure out my camera, so these photos are the best we get for nighttime/Christmas light photography...enjoy :)
Our bundled family trying to stay warm...surprisingly, the boys never once complained about being cold, it was just my hands that couldn't take it any longer!

Thanks Richins' for getting us in on your pass, we had a great cold time!
The four boys on the train...they were super excited and had fun looking at all the animal lights!

Our drummer boys (and Rach!). Mason really likes this part which is no surprise with how much he likes anything to do with music and dancing!
Cute gingerbread boys!

The hippos, gerenuk, and elephants---tour of Africa.
The boys favorite light display, he actually opens and closes his mouth...quite cool!

Lion
This was the best picture I could get of the zoo train lights with it moving but certainly the highlight of the boys trip...cold buns for us adults without snow pants on!
